Premium Exterior Plastering Cement
Rapid Set® Eisenwall® - DATASHEET [Printable PDF]
EISENWALL® Cement is a proprietary hydraulic cement mixture used in plaster and stucco applications where very High-Strength, low shrinkage, and superior durability is desired. EISENWALL® Cement is formulated using Rapid Set® Cement technology.
Ideal for plaster and stucco on high quality commercial and residential building projects. Use for schools, shopping centers, custom homes and other projects where long term durability and superior crack resistance is needed. Use on plaster projects where fast turnaround is critical.
EISENWALL® Cement can be applied as the scratch and brown coats in conventional 3-coat plaster applications, or as the base-coat in one coat stucco applications. Plaster made with EISENWALL® Cement can be applied by hand or by machine. EISENWALL® Complies with ICC Report ESR 2671. A 3 to 1 sand to cement ratio is recommended. Framing details for building construction using EISENWALL® plaster should follow conventional methods described in local building codes such as UBC Chapter 25.

A trial batch is recommended to optimize plaster performance. For small projects, start with one 88-lb bag of EISENWALL® Cement, 18 to 24 shovels (size #2) of plaster sand, and 4 to 6-gal. of potable water. Water demand will vary depending on the moisture in the sand. Bring the mix to desired working consistency. Mix for about 5 minutes.
Mix, apply and finish the plaster quickly. The working time of plaster made with EISENWALL® Cement is approximately 60 minutes at 70°F (21°C). It is important that the plastering operation be organized within this time limitation.
The working time may be extended by using cold materials or by adding Rapid Set® Set Control® to the mixing water. Concrete additives are available from the Concrete Pharmacy®. For more details, contact CTS.
Begin water curing immediately after final finishing. Mist spray curing for at least 90 minutes is required until material cannot be easily scratched with a nail. After water curing is complete the color coat may be applied.
